Facial transformation with “supercharged” microneedling

Also known as “collagen induction therapy,” microneedling involves applying a pen-like handpiece that contains dozens of ultra-tiny, sterilized needles to the targeted treatment site or area of concern. 

These needles are painlessly used to create microchannels or pin-pricks in the skin. This procedure stimulates a healing process; collagen and elastin are produced in the affected dermal layer of the skin to aid in closing these micro-wounds or controlled injuries. Little to no downtime is associated with this innovative process; however, you may have some lingering and localized bleeding, redness, and swelling for up to 24 to 48 hours.  

At first, you may notice a more radiant, glowing, and smoother complexion. As collagen is produced, the results only get better. “Peak” improvements to wrinkles and laxity may be noticed at around six months. Results are sustained with a good skin care regimen and maintenance treatments. On average, treatment only takes 15 to 30 minutes each time and spans three sessions spaced four to six weeks apart.
